9 Day Pharonic Treasures

Day 1: Monday / Cairo
Arrive in Cairo, one of the largest cities in Africa. After immigration and customs processing, you will be met by our
representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Tuesday / Cairo (City Tour)
Your first day in Egypt starts with a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, filled with replicas of the
Pharaonic era and treasures from King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Enjoy local Mediterranean lunch, then drive to the Citadel
of Saladin and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Evening transfer to Cairo for some early shopping in Egypt’s largest
oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Transfer to your hotel for overnight. (B, L)
Day 3: Wednesday: Cairo / Pyramids Tour (Optional Light Show in Evening)
Today’s tour starts with a scenic drive to the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza. After lunch visit Sakkara, site of the Step
Pyramid of Zoser. Return to Cairo for overnight.(B,L)
Day 4: Thursday: Cairo / Alexandria / Cairo
After early breakfast, start your day excursion to Alexandria by private car (3hr drive) along with your English speaking
guide knowledgeable of Grecco Roman history. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shugafa and Qait Bay Fort. Stop for lunch
and then visit the Romanic Theatre Kom El Dekka. Late evening return to Cairo to your hotel for overnight.(B,L)
Day 5: Friday / Cairo – Aswan
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan, upon arrival start touring with the visits of Aswan including
the High Dam and the temple of Phiala then transfer to your luxury cruise ship for 4 days / 3 nights cruise. Embarkation and
lunch on board. Afternoon (optional) tour by Felucca around Elephantine Island and the Botanical garden. Dinner &
Overnight on board cruise ship in Aswan. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Saturday / Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu (Optional Tour to Abu Simbel)
(Optional: Abu Simbel Tour -visit the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of his beloved queen, Nefertiti.
Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple of Kom-Ombo, dedicated for gods Sobek and Haroeris. Afternoon sail to Edfu Dinner,
and overnight on board cruise ship in Edfu
Day 7: Sunday /Edfu – Esna – Luxor
Buffet Breakfast on board. Visit the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Lunch on board during sailing to Esna.
Cross Esna lock and sail to Luxor. Proceed with visits of the East bank of the Nile including the Temple of Karnak and the
Temple of Luxor .Overnight on board of the cruise ship in Luxor. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Monday / Luxor / Cairo
Buffet breakfast and disembarkation from the cruise. Proceed with the visits of West bank including the two Colossi of
Memnon, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari and Valley of kings, then transfer to Luxor airport for your
flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo transfer to your hotel for overnight. (B)
Day 9: Sunday / Departure
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight.(B)
